Since 1999, Geosoft has delivered exploration, mining, infrastructure and energy projects across Southern, Central, West and East Africa. Building on that foundation, Geosoft now also manufactures Euro 6 petrol engines under its own generic IPR.
Geosoft has provided geophysical and geological services to minerals, groundwater and geotechnical applications since 1999, with survey experience across Southern Africa (Botswana, DR Congo, Namibia, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique, Angola and Zimbabwe), West Africa (Burkina Faso), Central Africa (Congo Republic), North Africa (Mauritania) and East Africa (Tanzania and Kenya).
Geosoft provides an array of services to the exploration, mining, mineral processing and metals industry, offering geological and geophysical surveys with state-of-the-art equipment. Resource quantification and mine development is Geosoft's forte, ranging from soil analysis to bulk sampling, and core drilling to trial mining.
Geosoft undertakes major infrastructure projects and assignments from concept and feasibility through detailed engineering, procurement and construction-management contracts, to operational and maintenance management — planning, designing and delivering water infrastructure to industry and municipalities, with modelling, feasibility studies, global benchmarking, supply-chain design and risk analysis for roads, rail and airports.
Geosoft's power unit has a reputation for excellence with continuous service in hydro, thermal power, and transmission and distribution — turning proven experience and innovative thinking into results on projects around the SADC region.
Building on its engineering heritage, Geosoft is manufacturing a family of Euro 6 petrol engines under its own generic intellectual property rights, built on ex-BMW Munich technology, with production readiness targeted for Q4 2028.
